A grounded, collaborative approach to therapy for individuals and couples navigating anxiety, relationship struggles, burnout, and the challenges that come with simply being human.
Virtual Therapy Throughout California
CAN YOU RELATE?
You're carrying more than you're showing.
If you're overwhelmed with anxiety or depression, weighed down by relationship or family dynamics, stretched thin by work, or just feeling lonely, you're not the only one carrying it. Most of my clients come in holding more than they let on.
My hope is simple: a space where you can feel, be, and actually express who you are, without having to perform or hold it together.
A Path Toward Feeling Like Yourself Again

MEET YOUR THERAPIST
I'm Ben Wallman, a licensed therapist
For over 10 years, I've worked with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, relationship strain, and the complexities life naturally brings.
My approach is warm, practical, and deeply collaborative. I bring the tools and structure. You're the one who knows yourself best, and who's actually driving the process.
Specialties I Work With
I support clients through anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and questions of faith and identity. Every person's needs are different, so my approach stays flexible and tailored to you, not locked to a single method.
01. Anxiety & Depression
Practical support to help you calm your mind and feel less weighed down. I'll help you build tools that make daily life feel lighter and more manageable.
02. Life Transitions & Burnout
Change, whether planned or unexpected, can throw you off balance. I'll help you navigate what's shifting and find steadier footing as you move into whatever's next.
03. Relationship Challenges
Strain shows up in all kinds of close relationships, not just romantic ones. I'll help you understand the pattern underneath the conflict and build healthier ways to communicate and reconnect, whatever relationship it's coming from.
04. Faith & Identity
A space to explore the beliefs, experiences, and questions that shape how you see yourself, including faith, without judgment. This is work we can take at whatever pace feels right for you.
Here’s How We'll Get Started
I keep the process calm and clear, so you always know what to expect.
01. Reach out
Fill out a short contact form telling me a bit about what's going on. No commitment, just a first hello.
02. ConsultATION
We'll set up a free 15 to 20 minute call, by phone or video, so you can ask questions and see if I feel like the right fit before you decide anything.
03. First session
This is our first real session. I'll ask questions to get the full picture of what's going on in your life, so I understand where you're starting from.
04. Ongoing Therapy
From here, we meet regularly, usually once a week to start, and build the work around what's actually helping you.

There's no experience necessary, and no pressure to have everything figured out before we start.
Our first session together is mostly me getting caught up on where you are today: your story, what's brought you here, and what you're hoping for. From there, things become more tailored to you specifically.
You're always in control of what you share, and when.

More than any specific technique or method, what matters most is whether you feel comfortable talking with me.
We'll start with a free 15 to 20 minute consultation call. It's a chance for you to ask questions, get a sense of how I work, and see if it feels right before committing to anything.

Yes. What you share with me stays between us, and confidentiality is something I take seriously.
There are a few legally required exceptions, like risk of harm to yourself or someone else, which I'm happy to walk you through in our first session.

Yes, for individual therapy, through a small number of accepted plans.
Couples therapy is private pay, since most insurance plans don't reimburse relationship-focused therapy the way they do individual sessions.

Therapy with me isn't just talking about what's wrong, it's building something you can actually use.
Alongside understanding what you're going through, my goal is for you to leave sessions with practical tools you can carry into your week.
You Don’t Have to Navigate This Alone
Reaching out can feel uncomfortable. Taking the first step doesn’t have to be. If you’re ready to start the conversation, I’d be honored to help.
